After 10 days of none stop rain and or snow out on the PCT this June, I wrote in my soggy Moleskin; while on a break I sat on a log and kept my pack on.

Frost snaps a bending bough,
Lost loves angst in my chest,
...A downpour of hail stings my bald head,
Steaming cold waters drip down my cheeks & forehead
